What airbrush do you recommend?
I have found Iwata airbrushes to be the most reliable. My preferred general use airbrush is the Iwata Eclipse. It works well for larger gradients and is capable of small detail. For extreme detail, I use an Iwata Custom Micron. There is a video lesson putting these to the test and compared.
What kind of paint do you use?
There are lessons using water-based paint like Createx and there are lessons using solvent based paint like House of Kolor or Inspire Airbrush paints. You can use either type of paint for the lessons. If you do not have good ventilation, water-based paint is best. There are several videos showing how to use both kinds of paint.
